Concerning Job Hunting

Sorry about missing last week, guys.

And another apology for not having a lengthy blog today, but I am working on an essay for my Short Film class.

The only thing I have to talk about is how I may be getting a job soon. I'm not taking many credits at all this semester, so I kind of feel like a bum. I hope to remedy this icky feeling by making money. :B

I'm considering getting job applications for: Petco, Borders, Jamba Juice, and maybe Coldstone. Anyone else have suggestions?

The 300th post!

Wow! I feel I should do or say something important but, alas, I have nothing.

Pre-Hap was a load of fun. I got very little sleep and played air guitar to "Don't Stop Believin'"

I am going to prom. I don't have a dress or anything yet but I do have my date. Without him I would not be going so yeah...

Our Town rehearsal is going well. I have to be at every rehearsal even though my character only shows up in the first act. I get the joy of attending the wedding and I am a pallbearer in the funeral. I am actually the only girl pallbearer because only three guy cast members are alive at beginning of act III. It is a really great play and if none of you have read it, I think you should.

I have no time to post today because I have rehearsal this afternoon and I have to go make my lunch so.....LiST TIME!

So I have no idea for list and I really need to go finifh getting ready sooo Buh bye!

I did not have a good morning this morning. I woke up late realizing that I had done none of my homework the night before. My boyfriend is on his way to New York so he could not make me feel better. I had yet to study for a French quiz in 5th period. And I had not packed for Camp. I am leaving tomorrow but I had hoped to be ready so that I could watch Lost tonight which is now not going to happen. I also have to write an essay about Character for this club thing. I am having an interesting day.


But tomorrow this time I will be at camp and everything will be better so I just need to tell myself to relax and breathe!

Since I have to do many other things I do not have time to blog so sorry but I will be better next week! I promise!

Concerning Blizzard Owning My SOUL

Hey guys, Monday here~

And once again I am at a loss of words, since my life is so BOOOOORING.

It's like anything really awesome I have to report revolves around World of Warcraft... and that's sad. xD I mean, I looove playing it but.. it's getting to be kind of intense. I'm on all the time. I'm afraid to look at my /played, because I don't want to see how many months I have spent in-game now. ;; Especially since I've made fun of a friend with a huuuge /played amount of six months (which I still think is really sad, but... I don't want to have that TOO).

I am proud to say that even though I have gone on raids with my guild, it hasn't gotten in the way of my daily plans. I won't schedule a day around a WoW raid, and I think anyone who does is beyond help.

So at least I have that dignity.

I suppose that's what I needed to talk about today. My obsession with WoW. I think the main reason it's gotten so much worse is because I have only a few IRL friends around now, since most of my friends are off in different areas of the country at college, while I'm stuck here at a community college. I don't have a job either, and part of me really wants to get one... the other part of me still craves that abundance of free time I have. But the free time leads to excessive gaming! /sigh I seem to have trapped myself.

The most depressing thing about this is that I have been drawing less. ;; Art is and will always be my main passion, and it really freaks me out that the amount I draw has decreased this much. It's not like I have an art block; I always have tons of ideas of what to draw.

And I can't quit WoW either, because that would KILL me. I love it way too much; I'm not strong enough to leave it. If anything else, I can't leave the friends I've made on there. My guild practically completes me- I adore those guys. I just need to somehow figure out some healthy balance to it all... But I suck at that kind of thing, because I don't discipline myself enough. ;;

Rawr.

Even though she should really not be posting in the afternoons because she is too ADD here is ODETTE!

Hey guys!

So I live on the East coast of the US. There was this massive snowstorm on Sunday night! We never get snow in Virginia so this was pretty exciting! We had no school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and we had two hours late yesterday! So today was my first full day of school this week!

We are doing this project in my French class were we have to say things we will do in the future. They are allowed to be fake and mine are:

In 2011, I will be 18. I will receive my Hogwarts letter. I will be sorted into Ravenclaw.
In 2013, I will be 20. I will meet Teddy Remus Lupin.
In 2015, i will be 22. Teddy and I will save the Wizarding World from Dark Wizards.
In 2023, I will be 30. I will teach the Charms class. I will be married to Teddy.

They are just fun, imo.

As for the aforementioned song you'll have to watch and internet series called "Red Vs Blue" as the song makes more sense that way, but I highly recommend you do because it's really funny =]

But anyway moving on, it seems we're losing faith in the appeal this blog seems to present to our readers so maybe we could do some moonlighting so to speak and spread the URL across the interwebs, more readers=more comments am I right?

Oh and for those with not much to talk about, I'll quote the advice one of the lovely strangelynerdy's gave me when presented with the same problem as Miss Monday, "Just ramble" =]

Frankly I think it's a stunning video, real the english translated sidebar and it'll explain it's influences in design, the Japanese are pure amazing ^^

But anyway at the moment I'm just waiting for my lesson to start, I have to do this worthless subject called Critical Thinking which is 2 & 1/2 hours waste of my time a week as no university recognises it as a qualification. In fact the only reason I bother going is EMA (Education Maintenence Allowance for our non-UK viewers) which gets me £30 a week. I miss a lesson=no money for me.

So that's a quick update on what I'm doing now, the rest of what's happened to me recently would only make for a depressing read and I wouldn't want to type anything like that =]
